Marketing Coordinator – Digital

The Marketing Coordinator – Digital role is a new position, created to support our marketing team and dynamic business environment.

Your creative thinking skills and strategic input will be an essential part of driving our digital narrative, enhancing our image, strengthening our digital footprint, and encouraging growth through all marketing areas. You will be a keen learner, quick to pick up new skills and willing to assist the wider team.

You will be part of the marketing team in our growing organisation that provides diagnostic pathology, medical research,  innovative laboratory equipment solutions, and surgical solutions to customers throughout Australia and New Zealand. 


Reporting to the Marketing & Customer Experience Lead, this role will support all marketing initiatives with a focus on our digital strategy for a B2B target market.

As Marketing Coordinator – Digital you will be exposed to many facets of our medium-sized business and will play an integral part in ensuring that the Abacus dx and Big Green Surgical brands are well presented in the market.

  • Coordinate digital marketing campaigns, including maintaining an up-to-date calendar and data-driven reporting
  • Coordinate the distribution of email marketing campaigns
  • Maintenance of customer records in CRM database, including communication preferences
  • Website development and maintenance
  • Search Engine Optimisation maintenance and analysis
  • Social media updates as directed
  • Video production and editing
  • Coordinate customer and internal webinars
  • Coordinate feedback surveys for customers and staff using Survey Monkey
  • Monitor the use of corporate branding to ensure consistency
  • Timely distribution of sales and marketing materials to customers/staff 
  • Support the team with our events including conferences, trade displays, workshops, user group meetings, internal events and meetings
  • Uphold and maintain the professional presentation of the Abacus dx brand and our suppliers brands at all times
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar experience
  • Experience in website development from concept to delivery and CMS platforms e.g. WordPress
  • Graphic design skills, including proven proficiency with Adobe (e.g. Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with EDMs (Pardot), social media, SEO, and video production
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision
