ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Following an internal promotion we have an opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our IVD Sales team and manage our customers within Western Australia and South Australia.

As a Territory Manager you will work closely with other departments such as Customer Care, Marketing, Applications and Engineering. You will be a part of a great team who are dedicated to superior customer solutions and support. You will enjoy a variety of activities and responsibilities including; customer sales calls, sales analysis and product education.

Regular sales meetings with the IVD team will further support your success and provide you with the opportunity to contribute to customer solutions and business growth. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and build revenue within a geographically defined territory 
  • Achieve quarterly and annual territory and supplier revenue targets
  • Visit established and prospective customers to maintain and develop strong relationships and educate them on the solutions that Abacus dx provides
  • Develop and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and liaise with the Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director and marketing team to implement sales and supplier strategies
  • Report regularly on revenue performance to budget and variance analysis
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer data
  • Proactive communication of customer ordering variations with respect to inventory management
  • Travel to and management of customers across different geographical locations
  • Represent the company at local and interstate conferences and customer events
  • Contribute to the organisational culture and continuous improvement of Abacus dx
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical or Biological Science (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the IVD market
  • Work experience in a pathology or research laboratory
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Excellent customer service 
  • Strong time management and prioritisation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong analytical problem solving
  • Strong teamwork & project management
  • Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • Proven experience and track record in a revenue creating role
  • Sales experience with IVD products
