CerTest bioSCIENCE Recombinant Proteins for SARS-CoV-2 detection

Based on all available information, complete Spike Glycoprotein (S), expressed in mammalian cells, and Nucleoprotein (N) are the best antigens for the development of a serology test.

The use of the complete extracellular form of the Spike Glycoprotein (S) (MT-25C19S), which comprises the S1 and S2 domains in trimeric conformation, has been shown to provide greater sensitivity than the use of the S1 domain alone, and also without losing specificity.

MT-25C19S is therefore an ideal antigen for Rapid Test, ELISA or CLIA manufacturing.
