We were honoured to host Darron Shields from PBF at our 2025 Leadership Forum, whose story exemplifies resilience and determination. After a life-changing cycling accident, he faced immense challenges but achieved remarkable feats, including competing in para-triathlons. His journey highlights the strength of mindset, management of expectations, and perseverance.
Darron’s presentation was a powerful testament to the human spirit. It resonated with our team and inspired reflection on our own challenges. It served as a reminder that we can achieve extraordinary things with the right mindset and support.
Our partnership with PBF spans over a decade, and we take pride in its impact. PBF has supported over 1, 1,000 individuals with spinal cord injuries, helping them navigate their complexities. Its injury prevention programs have reached more than 500,000, 000 Australians, promoting safety and awareness.
This collaboration transcends corporate sponsorship; it actively makes a difference for those affected by spinal cord injuries. PBF provides meaningful roles for paraplegic and quadriplegic individuals, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. Additionally, it offers a vital insurance safety net for our employees and their families in the event of spinal cord injuries.
