Gene to Protein Research Week 2025 – Perth

Abacus dx is happy to announce we are hosting the inaugural Gene to Protein Research Week 2025 in Perth. The event will include two major events: the Multiplexing and Sequencing and Molecular User Groups.

Multiplexing User Group (MUG)
Tuesday 4th March
3pm-7pm

 

Sequencing and Molecular User Group (sMUG)
Thursday 6th March
3pm-7pm

 

We honour excellence and innovation in multiplexing, sequencing and molecular research! 

We invite presenters to submit their abstracts for presentation at the event. The best abstract oral presentation for each event, which will be adjudicated by a panel, wins a research grant (to be used on Abacus dx products).

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Theme of Abstracts

sMUG: Research including results using Roche and TriLink Molecular and Sequencing technology.

MUG: Research including results using multiplex technology (e.g. bead-based multiplexed immunoassay technology, including instrument, multiplex assays or beads).
Guidelines

Please follow the guidelines below to prepare your abstract:

  • It must be written in English.
  • The only method of abstract submission is via the online form (link below).
  • It is the responsibility of the presenter/author to ensure that the abstract is submitted correctly.
  • Abstracts should have less than 250 words.​​​​​​
  • We accept interstate abstract submissions for online presentations.
Deadline

Abstract submissions close on Tuesday 25th February 2025
Terms and Conditions
  • Only one submission per first author.
  • The first author must present.
  • Abstract must be submitted before the deadline.
  • The best abstract for each event will be adjudicated a research grant (to be used on Abacus dx products).
