Asuragen announce the launch of AmplideX PCR/CE DMPK Kit for myotonic dystrophy

Asuragen have recently announced the launch of AmplideX® PCR/CE DMPK. This kit aims to simplify the analysis of repeat expansions within the DMPK gene, which is implicated in myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1).
 
As part of our release of AmplideX® PCR/CE DMPK into the ANZ market, Abacus dx would like your help and feedback on this product and use in the diagnosis of myotonic dystrophy type 1.

• Sensitive detection and accurate sizing of CTG repeat expansion in the DMPK gene
• Detection of very large repeat expansions – up to 2000 repeats
