FlexISH – Flexible FISH Testing from ZytoVision

Last updated: 01st March, 2023

Products are for professional/laboratory use only.

The FlexISH® products should give the highest flexibility to choose between a 1-day or a 2-day FISH protocol according to the laboratory workflow by adapting the hybridization time from 2 hours until over night. All products are available as 5 and 20 tests.
The FlexISH range includes the following products:

FlexISH® ALK/ROS1 DistinguISH Probe
FlexISH® ALK/ROS1 DistinguISH Probe (Product No. Z-2203-50)
FlexISH® ALK/ROS1 DistinguISH Probe (Product No. Z-2203-200)

The unique FlexISH® ALK/ROS1 DistinguISH Probe is designed to simultaneously detect ALK and ROS1 rearrangements and, additionally, to discriminate between possible aberrations affecting the chromosomal regions harboring the ALK and ROS1 gene. Rearrangements affecting the ALK or the ROS1 gene locus are  frequently found in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). These patients benefit from Crizotinib targeted therapy, which was first approved in ALK-positive NSCLC patients. Since March 2016, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Crizotinib in ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer as well.

FlexISH ERBB2/CEN 17 Dual Color Probe
FlexISH ERBB2/CEN 17 Dual Color Probe (Product No. Z-2166-50)
FlexISH ERBB2/CEN 17 Dual Color Probe (Product No. Z-2166-200)

The corresponding FlexISH®-Tissue Implementation Kit contains all necessary reagents to perform successful and flexible FISH experiments.

FlexISH-Tissue Implementation Kit         (Product No. Z-2182-5)
FlexISH-Tissue Implementation Kit         (Product No. Z-2182-20)

High quality FISH results with flexible hybridization time

There is an excellent correlation between the FISH results obtained after overnight and short hybridization periods with regard to signal brightness, signal-to-noise ratio, and the diagnostic result.
