DFS patterns are detected in over 37% of samples in routine testing of ANA by IFA1. This pattern can be suggestive of possible antibodies to DFS70 in the patient sample. Isolated anti-DFS70 antibodies may be an exclusionary marker for connective tissue diseases (CTD).
