In line with the current dengue season in the Southern Cone and an increased rate of Australians travelling overseas, differential diagnosis of ORO/MAYV through Real Time PCR is a crucial tool to rule out other arboviruses when the dengue test is negative1. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and timely intervention2.
