FARRAR – Refrigeration & Freezer Solutions for Life Science Applications

FARRAR®, powered by Trane Technologies, a global climate innovator, focuses on meeting the rapidly growing demand for ultra-low temperature and low temperature processes specifically in the manufacturing, freezing and storage of medicines, vaccines, and other life science products.

ULTRA-LOW Chamber Series

FARRAR pioneered forced air convection cooling to answer the challenge of preserving and storing biological and tissue donor samples and materials. Purpose-built for life science applications, the Ultra-Low Chamber Series – including ULC-190, ULC-259, and ULC-328 – are the only +2°C to +8°C and -20°C to -80°C (with options for -40°C storage), forced air, ultra-low-temperature freezers on the market.

FARRAR’s Lab Grade Refrigerators and Freezers

FARRAR’s Lab Grade Refrigerators, Freezers and Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer ENERGY STAR® certified and SNAP/EU F-gas-compliant, pairing a variable-capacity compressor with a low global warming potential (GWP) natural hydrocarbon refrigerant (R290) for high-performance and low energy consumption. Our lab-grade Refrigerators and Freezers are suitable for lab environments with ultra-quiet operation (46dB – 52dB).

FARRAR Lab-Grade Refrigerators, Freezers, and Ultra-Low-Temperature Freezers have undergone detailed Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) to support a 10-year service life and provide high reliability and performance.
