Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is used extensively as a carrier protein to dilute antibodies and as a general blocking agent in immunoassays and immunodetection protocols.

IgG-free BSA, which is also protease-free, alleviates many of the problems that contaminating IgG can cause.

 
Usage
 
Physical State: Freeze-dried solid
Storage and Rehydration: Store freeze-dried solid at 2-25°C. Weigh out desired amount and dissolve in desired buffer. Centrifuge if not clear. Prepare working dilution on day of use.
Expiration date: three years from date of receipt. The expiration date may be extended if test results are acceptable for the intended use.
