PeptiGrowth – PG-011

The FGF2 alternative peptide (PG-011) is a dimeric peptide composed of cyclic peptides that bind to human FGFR1c.

PG-011 exhibits agonist activity toward FGFR1c by binding to it, thereby activating signaling pathways in various types of cells (Fig.1).

FGF2 is a well-known growth factor that plays a crucial role in promoting the proliferation and differentiation of various cell types, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). However, conventional FGF2 is highly unstable, often requiring high concentrations and frequent media changes, which significantly increases costs and operational burdens.
