Ara h 6 has been identified as an important major peanut allergen. Studies suggest that storage protein Ara h 6 is needed to rule out severe peanut allergy. Peanut allergen component rAra h 6 will further increase the diagnostic value of the ImmunoCAP Peanut Allergen panel.
This additional component from Thermo Fisher Scientific complements the current ImmunoCAP Peanut Allergen panel which includes the following: Ara h 1, Ara h 2, Ara h 3, Ara h 8 PR-10 and Ara h 9 LTP, Ara h.
