Life Guard Temperature Monitoring Systems
The Life Guard temperature monitoring systems monitors the temperature of red cell blood bags to prove blood handling has been compliant with relevant regulatory standards at all times.
After cooling, the indicator is activated by special UV-C light devices in less than five seconds. The patented “Life Guard” insulated surface rules out any external temperature influence and reliably protects against unintentional manual contact. Intuitive colours support the correct decision making in the operating process: non-activated = yellow, activated = dark blue, temperature exceeded = orange.
