TriLink – saRNAs

Why use saRNA?

  • Compared to traditional mRNAs, saRNAs offer the advantages of:
    • Achieve higher and more sustained protein expression
    • Low dose requirements
    • High protein expression

This makes TriLink’s saRNAs highly attractive for the development of innovative vaccines and gene therapies.

saRNAs contain alphavirus sequences including non-structural proteins (nsp1-4), allowing them to self-replicate and amplify protein expression.

Video: How is self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) different from messenger RNA (mRNA)?
Higher and more durable protein expression from saRNA compared to mRNA in 293T cells.

Utilise TriLinks CleanCap technology for:

Optimal translation: Capped with CleanCap® AU, which mimics alphavirus 5′ end, to provide an optimal Cap 1 for efficient amplification and expression

And TriLinks CleanScript IVT and CleanScribe RNA polymerase:

Enhanced protein expression: Produced with TriLink’s proprietary CleanScript® IVT and CleanScribe™ RNA Polymerase to improve quality, minimise dsRNA, and increase protein expression

Increased protein expression in 293T cells transfected with saRNAs produced using CleanScript IVT and CleanScribe RNA Polymerase (n = 3, 24 hr post transfection).
